just found out today I lost a friend of mine to suicide. I don't know what to do for myself. And their family. I have no clue what to say or what to due. I for one have tried to commit suicide and this really shakes me to the core. To know that I could have left my son and husband alone?

I wish I knew what to say to make it better. 4 months ago the man I was with for 10 years committed suicide. It is so hard. There is nothing much you can really say to the family except to be there, let them know you are there if they want to talk.

May you and all who mourn similar loss know the comfort words cannot impart.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
