For any of you who know of a retired therapist named Softly or Goessoftly, I recieved a message today that was expected but very sad. She was the founder of a site called "You Hurt My Hurt". For all that knew her, I am so sorry for our collective losses.
![]() ![]() ![]() Dear friends of Softly/Dorothy: This will be one of the most difficult things I have ever had to write, but so many of you have been asking and wondering how our friend has been. There is no easy way to tell you all that she left this world and made her transition into God's hands last night at 6:30pm PDT. It was very peaceful and she thankfully did not suffer for an extended period of time. Though she had pain at the end, we were able to manage that for her and she left this world with the same gentle spirit and strength she always showed. My heart is breaking just as many of yours will at hearing this news and I am so sorry to each of you who have lost your friend. I know first-hand how well-loved she was and will pray for peace for each of you in the coming days. I do not know most of you and have been trusted with the great task of notifying everyone. That is difficult since there are so many whom I do not know. If you know someone who would want to know please pass this email on to them in case I miss someone she would have wanted notified. She also asked me to make certain that everyone's confidential files were destroyed so please rest easy that whatever you have shared with her in confidence will never be shared with anyone else. I will not read anything nor will anyone else have access to it. It will all be deleted in such a way that no one will ever be able to access what she wanted kept confidential. |

I don't know your friend, but she must have had an impact on you for you to have brought her up in this forum. Please take care of yourself and be well.
