A good work friend has died, I found out today by accident (I am off work at the moment due to the children being on school holidays) from another work friend that last monday karen collapsed at work, an ambulance was called and she was later pronounced dead.
Rumour has it that it was something to do with her brain. She was 48. She leaves a 20 year old daughter who she was very very close to and a grand daughter aged 1 and a half who she adored. She was a fantastic mother and grand mother. I last saw her the Friday before she died and she told me she had taken a week off work to look after her grand child and that she was looking forward to going back to work as her grand child was making her very very tired. Looking back I think she may of been tired due to her 'illness' who knows ..... I am in shock. She will be sorely missed by many. I just had a phone call from work, it happened on Thursday she was in the office crying as she had a headache and could not see. she was taken to hospital and later that day died. The funeral is on Wednesday 2 pm. I will be one of MANY going. Last edited by Anonymous29402; Aug 07, 2010 at 09:40 AM.. Reason: adding information. |
