My mother hated doctors and hospitals. She hated her tortured painful life. She begged me to take her home. The place she had spent 27 years mourning, and grieving her lost loved ones and blaming herself.
I am my mothers daughter. Now I fear I could spend the rest of my life mourning, grieving and blaming myself. She gave me life. And I repayed her with death. I'll never know if I did the right thing. __________________ BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD. Gandhi |

you wonder if you did the right thing taking her home to die? if that was her wishes no you did not do the wrong thing. My mom died at home right where she wanted to be. I think it makes it easier on them

Death is a part of life and if you took her home to die you gave her a great gift. Please tell us more, maybe we can help.

if you helped alleviate her suffering, then you gave her the "quality of life" gift in her last days
