Petunia,

I can relate to what you are saying....I keep crying & asking my psychologist where the switch is to turn off my mind from thinking the thoughts that keep seeming to take over my mind.

How to put the ID theft trauma & the experience of watching my mother dying as the cancer took over her body at the end, being there 24/7 trying to care for the things that the nurses in the hospital were too busy to take care of.......to the night where I finally told her that it was ok to let go & that she would be in a much better place once she realized that the answer to her prayres weren't to get better & have a vacation in Hawaii with her boyfriend.

I know how the pictures in our minds never seem to go away & it does seem impossible to put them into the proper perspective so that they don't continually haunt us. I don't even know if time is the answer either, but I know from what you have posted how much your brothers meant to you & everything that you went through in your life. The things I went through seem so trivial compared to your experiences that you are trying to deal with.....& hope that you are able to find the point where you are able to make those pictures in your mind grow more dim so that they quit haunting you to the extent that they are.

Not sure how really possible it is to do, but realize how you are feeling & hope that with help & support that you are able to not "get over it", but be able to put it into a place in your mind where is won't be in your constant thoughts,
Debbie
