Okay, so I must say, I've been doing okay since I lost my dad in 2002, using the memories to hold me up, and they have. Tonite the memories are great but not enough to keep back the tears, the reality. Dad left me, alone, and alone with taking care of mom. The whole strain, taking care of her, my only parent left, my own home and family, has pooped me out more than usual this afternoon. Just one of those things . . .
I wish it would all pass, and I'd find myself awakening to
a world that once was, where the good old days, the family gatherings, seemed they'd always be there. The memories, those old days, years ago,the photos, now just forever remain in my heart and mind, keeps me reason to carry on. But today, the emptiness, is robbing me of the little comfort, the good memories of past.
Perhaps, tomorrow, things will be better. For the past months have drained me,emotionally and physically.
Got to carry on,I cherish the memories and the little time I have left here on this earth. Cherish all the little time left, it truly is beautiful, but bittersweet.

Love to all,
Rosanne

I, too, hope things will be better for you tomorrow.
I'm thinking of you...

Thanks so much. I must say it was a better day, today. Just one of those things . . .
Gave my mom a birthday dinner/get together, even her mom (my grandma) who was just 96 yo, came. We all laughed talking about the good old days, etc.
I guess we all get these days, and somehow being together softens those rougher days.
Thanks Just one of those things . . .
