With the recent passing of a close high school friend, I have started to question whether it was destiny or just chance that he passed.

I mean I wonder if when he was born, if he already had a track where God knew he was going to pass at the young age of 32. Did he start his life with only 32 short years to live it? Or did this just happen by accident?

Idk, but I was wondering your thoughts. A very philosophical quite still in deed.

God doesn't make things happen to people in order for them to die. People die due to things that are caused by PEOPLE! Diseases are caused by people as a rule. Accidents obviously are caused by people. Many germs are caused by mutant germs due to antibiotics that have been used too often too long. Many diseases are caused by people smoking or second=-hand smoke, or workers in mines or factories; workers around asbestos, which thankfully has all but been outlawed but still is in some homes and factories/old schools; many people are infected with the AIDS virus which can be stopped by just not having sex! There are so many things that people can do to stay healthy, if the government would cooperate as well as other nations.

But God does NOT cause these things to happen. Take care. Hugs, Lee

He died of a brain aneurism- that wasn't his fault or anything he caused.

((((DD)))) i am terribly sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose those we love...and it is so confusing and shocking when someone passes under circumstances like that...my god-daughter experienced the same and passed. She was 8. I haven't been able to make sense of it. It is devastating. I don't know if there is a plan. I know that her parents have tremendous faith and looked toward their faith to bring them a modicum of comfort. sending gentle hugs and angels to guide you.
