In 2011, My son and his wife and 4 children were involved in a car accident in Florida. My daughter in law was killed instantly and my oldest grandson died 2 days later. My son was nearly killed, but survived.
He was not the biological father, but in the process of adopting. His wife left no Will. Her parents took the remaining children away from him because he met an old girlfriend and married her quickly after his wife's death. My new daughter in law has decided he would be better off without me or his sister in his life. We are not allowed to see the other grandkids or him now. I have lost 6 people and I don't know what to do. I tried to contact my son, I was rejected. I tried to give him space, and I am ignored. |

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how it feels to get shut out like that. I do hope your daughter-in-law comes to her senses and realize that she shouldn't come between you and your son. I also hope that your son also realizes that he shouldn't cut you off after such a tragedy. I wish for te best.
