I found out a few days ago that my dad passed two months ago. I did not know him as well as I wanted to because he chose not to be in my life after he got divorced when I was about 10. I haven't seen him since then and I had not spoken to him since I was 16 and I'm 20 now. It hurts because he was in my life when I was little and I created a bond with him and now I have no way of fixing that bond.

that's so sad. i hope your memories of the time you spent with your dad will help ease the pain/regret a little. i'm sure he loved you a lot. can you find out more about him from relatives or friends?
