I just lost my beloved dog Kip over the weekend. I am so sad and his death has really pushed me over the edge into a dark depression. Does anyone have any sympathy for sensitive dog lover and how to cope?

I am so sorry for your loss! I know how painful it is to lose a beloved pet. I usually grieve the same way I would if it were a human family member and I suggest you do the same. Cry when you need to, share your memories when you want to and keep something that was Kip's for yourself to hold on to. It will take time but it will get easier.

Dear checkers, sorry for your loss. That is so hard to lose a friend.

I guess you grieve the way you do for a human. Have a ceremony of appreciation for their life and a saying good bye to a good friend.

People at PC go through this. It is difficult but we all share in your grief.

Do you have a therapist or doctor that you could talk to about getting some change in medicines or at least talking things out.

Hello Checkers... Sorry to hear about the passing of your buddy....

I have this below linked text on my Amazon 'Wishlist'. Perhaps you can read through the reviews and see if it might be something that would be comforting for you to read?

Animals And The Afterlife (Kim Sheridan)
http://www.amazon.com/Animals-Afterl...=1418861475603

(P.S. if you're able to read ebooks, the electronic version is only $1.99)

Hope you start to feel better soon. : )
