Sorry for your loss. That is so painful to lose a family member.

Have you talked to your therapist of psychiatrist about this?

Hi Thought+Broad.Girl,

I'm so sorry for your loss

And I can understand the feelings of anger right now, it must feel like such a senseless passing, but you/your bro had no idea this was going to happen........and you have put out such an important message/warning on here for others in all of this.
I know that might not help you a lot with your grief, right now......but it matters.
And the tears, the other feelings.........they may come in time as you really reflect on the person you've lost. And try not to stop yourself reflecting on them/their life/how close they were to you..........because that matters as well. They were important to you in lots of different ways, right??
And it might hurt a lot when you're at that stage, but gradually allow that to give you some comfort if/when you can...........for what they were to you, and for what you were to them.
