I have an oddly sad feeling. My high school days were not good. Couldn't wait to rip up my uniform skirt and never look back. (Catholic High School) I do, however, have some good memories of teachers I like. Mrs. K., my biology teacher, Sr. C., my Theology and Math teacher...

Sister C. is the one who passed away. She left the convent young, married, and had a son. He was a year of two older than my daughters. I ran into her while we were taking our kids to school. My twins were just 6 yrs old then.

Maybe these are some of the good memories I'm going to hold in my heart. Teachers I liked. Subjects I liked. A few friends I liked.

Here's to new memories! Here's to C. RIP

C.'s husband sent me a beautiful response to my condolence post. I never met the man but he responded so eloquently...yes, I'm hoping her son is okay as well lowinmood.
