Long story short, my 21 year old daughters packed up some Monday and Tuesday and are going to live at their dad's house.

We got an eviction notice and since they help pay rent, they wondered where it was going. It was going to pay other bills and, now that I'm not working, there is nothing...so, they are paying one months rent on Monday.

Now they know the situation is not good, but I should have been up front and told them I was just desperate and was paying other things. I have been short for so long that I think it's become a way of life.

So they packed up their essentials and yesterday they left on their Christmas trip. They'll come back and pack some more and take their beds and dressers. Then they will be gone.

I know they must be hurt and angry. They're not little kids and I should have been honest. Now the dishonesty will be something that will take time to build again.

I'm okay, just trying to not beat myself up. It was time they moved out. They're old enough and all that. I just didn't want to have it be like this.

I'm so sorry Cat. It's rather unkind of them to do this at Christmas. Thinking of you.
