I lost a friend of mine that was dear to my heart. I go to paint at a ceramic store and she was one of the workers there. She took me in when I first came to the place. She was so sweet; so kind. Just a great soul. She died on Friday from complications in surgery. I just found out today (May 3). I miss her. I was looking forward to go painting today in hope that I would see her and show her how my Mother's Day plate turned out once it was fired in the kiln. She loved it pre-fire so I know she would have loved it post-fire. I wanted to show her my alabaster eggs I got and show her what I planned to do with the crate I was painting to hold them. I am heartbroken and just trying to cope right now. Her funeral is on Friday and I hope I can attend it.
Thank you for listening to me.
