For anyone who has lost their mother, I'd like to extend my sympathy to them today. No one understands until they lose their own (like anything else in life). Remembering loved one's today is all some of us can do.

I lost my mother a little over a year ago. I think one of the hardest parts was seeing her suffer so much before she died. She had terrible anxiety, depression and had been diagnosed with heart disease, which is what took her in the end. She suffered both mentally and physically. I started to lose the mother I knew in my younger years before she actually pasted away. My grieving started before she was physically gone.

I am sorry for all the people here that have lost a parent. Both my parents have changed significantly as they got older. Some of the fineness wore off. Then my dad died in October and my mom has just kind of withdrawn. It is not easy getting old. It is not easy seeing people get old.
