I am so sorry, EJ. My dear kitty I am very close to my two kitties; they are like members of my family, so I understand. Can you tell us a little about Stripes? My dear kitty

Sunrise,

Thanks for asking.

Stripes was my first orange, tabby cat. He had beautiful aquamarine eyes, black freckles on his nose, and a very sweet disposition. He was the eldest member of our four-footed family.

He was eating less, and sleeping more the last few days, but didn't seem to be in any discomfort. He passed during the night, and my husband buried him this morning, next to our beloved Snuggles, another rescued kitty.

Thanks for caring.

((((EJ and family))))

I am sorry that Stripes has passed on. I once had a cat named Bootsy who also lived to the ripe old age of 21. I myself, had just turned 21, moved out of state and couldn't take her with me, so I left her with my parents. Less than 24 hours after my departure, she had passed away under my old bed. Still breaks my heart!

My dear kitty

Julia,

That would be so nice if you gave your new kitty Stripes as his middle name. When I first got Stripes, I was calling him Charlie for awhile, but finally settled on Stripes. He showed up at my house around July 4th.

Most of the rest of my four-footed family are all right, but about four of them are looking at me as if to say, "Where did Stripes go?".

Hugs,

EJ

My Best Kids,

Oh your 21-year old kitty missed you. Cats are deeper than a lot of people realize.
