I lost my mom the day before Christmas eve. Christmas is very difficult for me to celebrated because my mom died during the Christmas. Christmas is my mom favorite time of the year. But now I don't want to get out of bed or go anyway. Everything hurts me mentally and physically. Whenever I see Christmas lights or hear Christmas music I just want to burst into tears. I become angry or I become very emotional. I fought with her the week before she had pass away and the day she had pass away we had gotten into an argument. How do you deal with loss during the holidays?

I really need to focus on the positives during the holidays or its too hard. If your mom loved Christmas can you look at celebrating as a way to honor and remember her? Also crying can be very therapeutic and is totally normal. Don't bottle your feelings up.
