My wife died of cancer 9 years ago, on a Friday, two days before Mother’s Day—it was bad for me and worse for my daughter. Mostly it’s better now, but this year it’s a tough weekend. I married again in between then and now—the first years were great, the last three years were awful, we’re separated and grinding through a divorce now. But I miss my late wife... heck, I miss my late Mum. I’m looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.

Hi MrMoose. I am sorry for the loss of your wife to cancer. Then having another marriage and divorce that must be so painful.

I hope you find comfort in work and get the support you need to get through this rough time.
