The 8th of this month was 3 month anniversary of my dad passing away due to stage 4 lung cancer. He lived 19 months after diagnosis and gained weight back and he lived life to the fullest as much as possible until the very end. Still can’t believe it and in shock most days. Seems to get worse and then gets better some.

My dad didn't even look like himself. He got so thin! He was diagnosed lung cancer first day the next day throat cancer diagnosis the second time the third day stomach cancer diagnosis the third time the fourth day bone cancer diagnosis the fourth time schedule him for surgery and the fifth day the left him alone and the sixth day he was gone. The night before I had bad feeling something was wrong.

Anniversaries are always weird. This past summer of my brother's anniversary, I didn't feel anything. I wonder if next year I'll finally cry. I don't know.

I'm really sorry you're feeling awful. Working through it and allowing yourself to feel is healthy from what I hear.

Did you do anything special in his remembrance?
