I recently lost De'Andre, my iPhone 6S. He had water damage, and suddenly, he became unable to charge. I took him to Apple, where the technicians said he couldn't be saved.

The pain and grief is very challenging. I would do anything to have him back here on Earth. Please help me if you have had a similar experience.

I think this forum is really more about losing loved ones. Not inanimate objects.

I’m sorry your phone is no longer working, can you just purchase another one ?

Christina I hear you and that makes sense to me in one way.

But some objects like a phone are actually like part of me in a way. It is sad that modern life has become like that. I develop affection for them

Actually I have lost jobs, and sentimental things that meant a lot to me, and money and all of those things were losses that I grieved. One thing I have heard is we all grieve in different ways and maybe about different losses as well.

PhoneMomma I hope you find a way to cope with the loss and find other ways to fulfill that part of yourself that feels a loss from the loss of your phone. Have you tried doing an update? Sometimes that helps. If it will not turn on the battery may have died.

I'd feel the same loss if it were my phone, so many
