Please feel free to post your most beloved songs, to honor & pay tribute to your loved one/s who have passed on Song title & lyrics do not have to be about grief or loss. It could be a happy song that your loved one liked a lot or a song that reminds you of them

@MaverickLovesYou thanks for creating this post.

This song reminds me of the sadness I felt when my dad died 6 years ago. It is not like all the words apply but the sad mood seems to express the emptiness I felt then. Autumn Leaves Eva Cassidy - Autumn Leaves - YouTube

Life has changed since then and I am generally into life right now. But this song just brings back that moment. For all those who have ever lost someone dear to you, my heart reaches out to you. May you find release from the grief of loss.

Another song that I associate with Ebony:

Lene Marlin - Unforgivable Sinner - YouTube

(not going to post all the lyrics, just some, to show where it fits with Ebony)

"You hope she knows you tried" - i did everything me and the vet could think of, to give her the best chance at living a "normal" life

"Cause between this world and eternity
There is a face you hope to see" - I would, even now, agree to anything just to see her one last time

"You know where you sent her" - I held her as she took her final breath, which three is certain means i caused her to die

"No answers are there to get
You will never be the same" - why did she get the brain cancers? i'll never be able to forgive myself for letting her get cancers

Sorry about your husband

Sometimes I play 80s music bc it was when my Mom was still here. I also sometimes play her favorite Cantonese song & favorite radio station. It really makes me feel like she's sitting here listening to it like old times
