My father died when I was 5 months old. I am now 37 and scared of needles but have always wanted a tattoo. I have been on a personal journey to fufill the loss of my dad the last 3 years and I finally got a tattoo on his birthday last November. It was the best thing that I have done for thearpy with my loss. It is a perment part of a reminder that my dad must have loved me. I got a horse head because of the spirit it gives me and a heart and the word love are hidden in it. I would get another tattoo in a heartbeat.

Thanks for sharing your tattoo. It is perfect!
take care

Thanks you to all for the comments. My ex g/f thought mixing in the ashes was morbid but too bad. Seemed like a fitting tribute to me considering she spent a lot of time at the tattoo shop waiting for me while I was working. And now she's with me till we meet again at rainbow bridge.

Julianne, I'm sorry about your dad but glad you went ahead with the tattoo and the healing process.

Love y'all...Love you Amelia...See you soon baby!
