We have been waiting for two weeks to hear the news that my Aunt Shirley has passed on. She experienced a year of constant chemo, pain, and suffering. She finally is at rest as of 10:10 am yesterday. We all have sent love, hugs, and support to family and will remember her for her final moments when, while in pain, she still had humour and a smile. I love you, Aunt Shirley. Your love will be felt forever after.

![]() ![]() ![]() My Dad had his private time with her and he tapped her gently and told her "You rest, I will be quiet." She faintly smiled back at him and said "That will be a first." Dad smiled back at her and warned her "You realize that I will have to keep talking now so that I can defend my honour." She smiled from ear to ear, closed her eyes and fell asleep. That is how we will remember her. ![]() |
