I recieved news today from my friend and classmate that one of our friends, and classmate died last night of a heart attack. He had trouble all his life with his heart. Just doesnt seem right that he is gone so soon. Leaving his wife and two teenage daughters behind. This is the third classmate that has died out of our class. One of those 3 was my nephew. This family has been thru hell in the past few years. This guys wife's sister lost her husband a couple years ago and their mother has cancer. And his brother lost a son due to a moped accident and the other brother had a son in a similar accident, but he did survive , Thank God. How much more are these families supposed to endure?

Just does not make sense.

Rest in Peace our dear friend. You will never be forgotten.

Thanks so much everyone. Just so lost as to why this had to happen. Why anyone so young has to die.

I stare at a family picture of my friend and classmate
Wondering what will become of them without Phil with them?
What will his wife have to endure as an only parent?
What will his young teenage daughers go thru with the loss of their loving father?
Will they be able to move on and remember the good times they had?
Or will they lose themselves to the void he left behind?

As I prepare to go to the funeral home.
I keep asking myself what comfort can I offer them?
What can I say or do to make their life easier?
To help them understand why this happened?
What difference will it make for them ....

They lost their husband and father.
Nothing will ever be good enough again for them
Nothing can fill that void
Nothing will bring him back.

UGH.. I wish I had something good to say about all this. But its just not there.

The best you can do is just be there for the family, that meant the world to me when I lost my father and stepfather(like a father) to just know that others were there and they cared and also missed my loved one. I am so sorry for your loss.
