My dear, sweet mother passed quietly in her sleep 12 years ago yesterday.

I was blissfully unaware until the 21st, as I was in Israel with my church.

Upon landing in Orlando, my husband who had not been able to travel with me, ushered me off to the side and told me of the news.

God was so good to me to have both senior pastors right there -- they had been on the trip with me. Also my best friend at the time, and her husband also a minister at our wonderful church had come out at 11:00 p.m. to meet our plane. My sunday school class had also come, although they did not know of my mother's passing before I was told. So much support God provided for me at a time of such great loss.

My mother had gone to the New Jerusalem, as I had gone out on the Sea of Galilee.

I miss you dearly, Mom!!

I understand so much better now so many of the things you tried to teach me when I was little. Such an intelligent and wise mother God gave me.
