I just found out this morning.

A friend of mine, who I only got to know via online websites and MSN died yesterday. Many people would say "so" and tell me to move on with my life...

But Jeremy, he was special to me.

He was the kind of guy who was totally random and sweet and funny and always willing to lend an ear or give a huge... even if it was just one of these guys...

We had the most random conversations. If he had had a choice, mostly about football.

We both shared a common bond - disability and wheelchairs. It was actually how we met online through another community.

The running joke between us was that if only we lived closer together (I live in Ottawa, he lived in NY) that we'd have gone out on a date or at least gotten to know each other more.

I can't believe he's gone. I really miss him even if I didn't entirely get to know him.

Rest in Peace Jeremy. I'm sending good thoughts to your family.

hon I am so sorry for your loss. I don't think it matters how much you know someone. it still hurts.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.
I myself have made quite a few very good friends through online communities/sites,
so I don't think that "how" you meet someone is important. What matters is connection.

May you rest in peace, Jeremy.
Thanks for this!

Chris ,, I get how ya feel 'bout the * never knowing like thing * ........

But the thing I learn with these ties that are formed ,, is that they remain in the common interests place . [ and that can be very hard to find IRL ].

T/C Chris ...
sorry for the loss of your Friend ,

wmd.
Thanks for this!

Thanks everyone. I'm still in a bit of a funk... I mean, he CANT be gone! Yes, he had a disability... but that can't be the reason he's gone. He was too young to die.
