Default Waking up at a more normal time

I have started to sleep in everyday. I don't have a job so I don't need to wake up. I want to be able to get up earlier so I will feel more normal. I think it started as a form of rebellion. If I had such a crappy life why should I have to get up? Now I can't even get up by noon even with an alarm. How can I get up earlier?

I'd do it in increments. If you normally get up at noon, try getting up at 11:45 AM. Put the alarm clock clear across the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Once you are out of bed do not go back to bed. Then after you get up at 11:45 AM for a week, get up at 11:30 AM. Then do that for a week. Then 11:15 AM. Then 11 AM etc. until you get to the desired wake up time.

I lie in bed even when not trying to fall asleep. I also will watch YouTube on my iPad at night.

I think that if you want to change the time you get up, it would work to change it in increments.
