So, I'm going to be seeing a specialist at hospital soon to investigate into this. Since last year, I've been experiencing practically all of the symptoms of CFS and a few from Fibromyalgia. It's quite worrying. It has actually disabled me quite badly. I am almost always in this house, or this bed. When I'm up and about, I go from bad to worse. It's so exhausting and so horrible. I was wondering if anyone else suffers from either of these conditions and could help me feel less alone if it is this? It certainly looks like a very possible chance it is, but I shall find out (hopefully) soon...

Thank you for reading.

Hello,

I have both of them in addition to other health problems. You are not alone; trust me on that.

I'm glad you are going to hospital so they can run tests and make sure you're not anemic. Do as much as you can and rest when you must and don't beat yourself up when you're too tired to get all the chores done.

I bought a four inch foam mattress and put it on top of my regular mattress. It helps my sleep so much. I don't hurt nearly as much. I also purchased a desk chair and a recliner that fits my height and gives me soft but firm support.

Also, a carbohydrate free diet helps so much. It is very hard for me to maintain because I'm addicted to sugar, but it really does make a huge change in the way I feel.

I wish you all the best,

Jan

What did the test reveal?
I have RA & FIBRO, therefore, I can relate to the pain and the way it disables your life.

Then it might be Fibro as it does not show up on scans or blood test.... what are your tender points - areas of pain?

(Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain in your muscles, ligaments and tendons, as well as fatigue and multiple tender points... places on your body where the slightest pressure can cause pain)

Tender Points:

What does your doctor say about the pain?

... I am praying for YOU.

This is why I think it may be CFS moreso because I don't really have tender points other than my chest area/ribcage area and such. The pain varies, and I've heard chest area pain can be a symptom of CFS also. And I have more symptoms of CFS than Fibro but both have similar symptoms, however, I do feel exhausted, and get headaches, and I've read a long list of the symptoms in CFS and can relate to almost all...
