I ahve worn glasses since I was 5 years old. I was originally Long Sighted then I became Short Sighted.

I went to my local opticians to see if I qualified for Laser Eye Surgery as I am hindering myself. I work for a Charity Organisation which deals with Autism and Challenging Behavioour. I have to take my glasses off for 1 of the guys and they ahve been close to breaking due to the behaviours some of my Service Users possess.

Anyways... I was at a different Opticians than my normal one. He tested my eyes and did a thourough check of them. I told him that I have had a "floater" in my eye for a couple of years. My normal opticians just said to keep an eye on it.

Well turns out unknown to me I actually have CATARACTS. I AM 24 YEARS OLD!!!

I have to go back to him in 3 months time. But if it gets any worse ie the floater gets bigger or is coming down in a curtain I have to go to the hospital IMMEDIATELY.

Just needed to rant and cry and rant and cry some more.

Thanks to anyone who takes time to read this
