im sitting here with really bad stomache pains ive had them for the last 4 days. i tend to get them from time to time cos of the cysts on my ovaries. thinking about going to hospital as its just getting worse, but the thing stopping me is one ill be on my own, and two everytime ive gone in with the same problem they have admitted me for a week and just kept the pain killers coming but never actually do anythng, so in reality i could be doing the same thing at home. i dont think i have much of a choice atm though as the pain is getting too much to the point im having trouble moving.

I think you have no choice but to go ! But as you know in the past they have kept you in I would go prepared just in case, take a bag with night clothes in it and a purse with change so you can use the phone also might be a good idea to take some mags or a book with you.

Tishie is right, please go and get help, it is not good to be self medicating at home. I know the hospitals where you are and they are fantastic and full of nice people who will look after you. You need to be taken care of right now, let them do that for you. We will still be here when you get back Paddy

im going to bite the bullet an go cos im just getting worse
im scared though i hate hospitals an even more scared if they need to do an internal or something but i got to go cos its got worse and to the point where the pain is that bad im vomitting take care everyone

I'm sorry that you are having soooo much pain. I hope the Docs will do more than just load you up with pain meds. But mostly, I just hope you feel better!!

well i ended up going to hospital and was there for bout 7 hrs. there wasnt much they could do as i needed an ultrasound. i have to go back in this morning and have an ultrasound done and then go back through to the emerency departmart as they are thinking about key hole surgery and then from there deciding what they want to do. im still in pain and my arm is sore from the drip take care my friends xoxox
