Um yeah i'm kinda worried, i got bit by a spider on my toe of all places and it is swelling pretty fast and it burns and hurts/throbbing....i have never had a spider bite do that before and i just moved to Florida not even a year ago and i dont know what kind of spiders are around here...my question is should i go to the ER or wait and see what happens? Im really nervous about this.

Please go to the ER or to your GP. Always err on the side of caution when it comes to spider bites. Please let us know how you're doing and I hope you feel better very soon.

At the moment i'm waiting for my boyfriend to wake up so he can look at it and see what he says. i mean the only reason i know its a spider bite is cause i can see the marks but this swelled fast like it wasnt there an hour ago :/ and i will let you know as soon as i know whats going on

My boyfriend said it is a fire ant bite....but the problem with that is i would of felt it bite me and i have been bit by them before they dont swell up this bad or feel like this. So im going to keep an eye on it for a couple of hours and see what happens

Better be careful you may be allergic to whatever has bitten you. Check your temperature and keep a close eye on it. I advise you go to the hospital asap. Its better to be safe then sorry. Hope its nothing major stay safe

I didn't go to the ER cause the swelling went down. As of today the blister looking thing pop and it dried out. Now its just a fading red spot. So what ever spider bit me didn't do anything to major. I will still keep an eye on it but i think I'm ok.
