damned exhausted all the time lately.

I'm not quite sure what is going on with me....I do have Fibro and I know the pain is from that....and it's not horrible at the moment...definitely something I can work through and deal with. But the exhaustion is almost getting to the point where it's too much to deal with.

How I would love to have 3 or 4 days where I could just "be". I want to be alone......I want all the junk food I can think of...... I want a comfy bed, plenty of refreshments, good movies and books and a couple of really fluffy comfy pillows to cuddle up with.

Is that too much to ask for?

No, it's not too much to ask. Autumn and Spring are really hard on us with fibro, etc. That's part of it. I realize I'm probably asking the impossible but is there any way at all you can arrange to take two days and go to a motel or bed and breakfast?

It would sure be a good thing to do something like that Jan....I really wish I could!

Maybe in a month or so I could arrange for it. It really all depends on my money situation.

I can go there in my mind though Imagining myself sprawled out on a beautiful queen sized bed....nobody around, peaceful and quiet, only my own thoughts to listen to, now that would be special LOL

Sabby,

Remember how things were for me a couple years ago? When taking care of my dad and all his stuff, and struggling with my marraige and dealing with healing on other things. Dang that left me feeling exhausted too. Go go go go goooooooooo all the dang long day. Think of the stress that puts on a body... and especially one dealing with Fibro or another chronic pain disorder. One thing I've learned with my Fibro is that I have to do things in moderation. No more no less. You gotta know your limits on things. Its not good for you to continually push and push yourself till you have no energy left to enjoy things.

I can sit here and honestly tell you that since I have none of that stress to deal with anymore, the fibro flare ups dont happen near as often. I think its been cut back more than half of what it was. So if you can try to prioritize your life more, so you dont have as much to deal with on a daily basis, maybe it would be more beneficial to you in the long run. I know its easier said than done, but arent you worth it? I think you are. Hang in there.. and take good care of you ok?

Yes hon, I do remember that time for you. It was horribly difficult for you and so stressful.

I am so glad that the flares have cut back so much for you. I'm glad you have been able to prioritize some stuff too. That's great self care!!

Your point(s) are very well taken and I will be doing some long hard thinking about what I can do to help prioritize some of the stressors in my life. It will be very hard to do, especially considering the line of work I'm doing. I can't quite tell the individual that I take care of that his problems will have to wait because I'm prioritizing mine LOL

Definitely some good thinking ideas for me though...thanks hon!

Have you had a blood panel done lately? Could it be that you have vitamin deficiencies, too?

That's a good question Jan. I had one done in the spring and the only thing it showed was that I had a vitamin D deficiency. So, I'm taking some D to help boost it.

Thanks so much for thinking of it my friend!

Sorry you feel so yukky. Having your thyroid tested is a good idea. Hope you feel better soon, Ophelia xx

Yes, a good profile run by your MD to make sure things are functioning well is a good idea...

And what helps me is regular exercise and eating certain nutritional foods... greens and smoothies packed with fresh fruits or veggies are so powerful, I feel energy right away... plus I pop a b12 every other day.

A good check-up could be the reveal you need and then decide how to proceed.

My best to you and yours... be well!

Peace and Happiness,
Night
xoxo

Are you taking prescription D or over the counter D. There is an absolute world of difference in the amount and quality.
