Last July I got Lyme Disease and went through my 30 days of antibiotics and felt better immediately. Well this morning I woke up and feel exactly like I did over a year ago. My whole body is stiff, I'm tired, have a splitting headache, chills etc... I don't feel sick in the way of physically getting sick, just the symptoms I mentioned and I have no fever. Does this sound like it could possibly be a relapse of my Lyme Disease or something else? I made a doc appt. for tomorrow but it takes a while to get the blood test results back

Since I know next to nothing about lyme disease I have no idea whether you can even relapse with it. Good idea calling the doc for an appointment. What you describe could be symptoms of so many different things. Good luck!

I know that it can relapse. It's caused by a type of bacteria called a spirochete (the same kind that causes Malaria) and they are notorious for relapsing later in life. I just don't have many flu symptoms - its just horrible body aches and a splitting headache.

I read that even some who have H1N1 don't have fever. It is so hard to tell what's going on sometimes .
I'm glad you will be able to see your doctor today.
Let us know how you're doing, if you care to share that.

Well I just got home from the doctor's and she said thats probably what it is. I'm a little young for things like Rheumatoid Arthritis (I'm 22) and I have no fever or stomach ache so she said it's probably not the flu. So she gave me 30 days of Doxy and some pain meds for the joint pain. Ugh. Stupid ticks.
Thanks for this!
