Does it never stop? I've been having increasing problems with my right foot for over a month. While it's been degrading along with the rest of my body/nerves/muscles for years... lately I've had trouble keep a shoe on (foot doesn't hold it on) and it "falling" off the gas pedal in the car ... stuff like that. Over the weekend it began hurting like it was broken, and this is unusual since I don't have much feeling in my feet at all anymore... but this severe paining.. and then at times like a fresh break... gads... at physical therapy today he dx'd it as the achilles tendon acting up. So I have to wear shoes with a real heel ... and get lifts in both shoes until it's quits flaring. (Both shoes so I don't throw my back off, which is easy to do for me.) Like I can go to the store? Have to. In the storms? Soon. Not right now. Ok. It's not broken it just feels that way... gads.

This pain is really too much (on top of all the other!) Gonna make it an early night... more demerol more demerol! (Can't believe the pain even with basic demerol on board.) Oh it's consider a type of tendonitis (achille's tendon duh me) And I wish it was on Achille's and not me!

Sky, the first thing that comes to mind is a tendon tear, especially with the falling off the gas pedal thing.
![]() I remember a few years back I was having heel pain whenever I got out of bed in the morning. Doing stairs was a killer. It got better on its own after a few weeks, so I couldn't tell you what it was. ![]()

Tks WI... I go to physical therapy 3x a week for my disabilities... this is just another way it shows itself... just hasn't done so in this particular tendon before! I can go another few years without it doing so again, but usally what happens is as certain areas of the body are affected, they never go back completely to what they were before the flare.
It has eased up with the lifts... but then you could be right, I'm not walking on it much.. I had a torn tendon in my shoulder eons ago... before the injury... it took forever to heal.
