OMG, I thought I was seeing more hair in the drain. I have really thick hair and I was combing it while wet a noticed that my hairline on one side is receding. There is a lot of skin there where hair used to be. I always had a low forhead and couldn't even wear a baseball cap because it would hinder my vision. I don't know what is going on here. And no it's not from pulling it back. Advice please anyone

First step is to make a doctor apt to make sure there isnt any medical problem going on here... as there are many illness out there that have hair loss as one of its symptoms.

If the hair loss is due to low protein - eating a can a tuna every day helps.

Definitely get it checked out on a medical level.
Sometimes its the hormonal changes in our system.
We can also get hair loss like guys do too.

Pardon me that I don't know your age so some of this might not be relevant. Like Rhapsody said there are many medical reasons for losing hair but I'll mention the 3 most likely reasons - stress, low thyroid and menopause. Ask your doctor to do a thyroid test and some other blood tests.
