I have been living with chronic fatigue since I was at least 14. I am 41 now.
No matter how much rest I get, I am still tired. And when I do housework or go to the store, when I come home I am beat, and I have to go to bed. Lately, the fatigue has gotten worse. I am seeing a new GP for my fatigue. It was discovered in '04 that I have a retrocardiac mass in my chest. My old GP of 10 years, sent me for 3 CT scans and told me each time that the mass was "stable", but never told me what it was. He and his daughters also ignored my chronic fatigue that I always complained about. His daughter told me not to worry about the mass, that I was probably born with it. My new GP knows that I have chronic fatigue symptoms and referred me to a thoracic surgeon, who sent me for yet another CT scan, that I just had recently. HE will also review the three scans prior to my last one. I see him the end of April. I am very anxious to see if this "mystery" mass could possibly be causing my chronic fatigue symptoms and shortness of breath. It would be awesome if it did and it was treatable! I hope that one day I will have some energy again. It's been so many years. Add the rest of my problems with the fatigue and well....it makes for a rough life. Is there anyone here that lives with severe chronic fatigue daily? If so let me know, so we can chat about our experiences.

I suffer with alot of fatigue too. Do you snore? Have you considered whether you could have sleep apnea or a sleeping disorder that you are not aware of, I just recently did a sleep study and they found I had severe sleep apnea, there are 84 sleep disorders out there.
