I've got a mouth sore and it hurts... it kinda feels like it used to when I had braces and my gums would rub my braces and get a sore spot...
but because I don't have braces now, I don't know what the heck is up. Any ideas on how I can get rid of and maybe prevent this?

Miracle, I dont think you have much to worry about.
But by the way it sounds, it seems like it might possiblly be a Canker sore, which alot of women and men get, mostlly women though. Canker sores can last for a WHILE, but sooner or later the pain with ease down. I hope this helps. |

Could be anything...including something serious.
I know drinking alot of orange juice (or taking in citric acid etc) can cause such ... as well as biting the inside of your cheek (without realizing it.) Try brushing it with your toothbrush and toothpaste ... it hurts but often helps it heal faster. Oh, yeah, missing a night's tooth brushing can cause it too. Feel better soon.

I agree with Rainbowz, don't worry about it. I have those alot, they're usually caused by acidic foods and/or stress. It should go away in a few days, maybe a week or so. Avoid salty or acidic stuff though, they make it worse and REALLY hurt.
Like (JD) said, brushing can help too. |
