Hi everyone,

I swear with me if it's not one thing it's another. As far as physical health it is a wreaking ball. I just found out yesterday I have 4 ribs on my upper body near my right sholder blade that are turned outward. I am currently going to PT for lower back pain that can be so severe at times it's crippling to the point of not being able to walk. But now this is going on and they really aren't sure what caused it, thinking maybe the way i sleep but not so sure about that. And now they aren't sure how to fix 4 ribs that won't even move so to speak back into place. It feels like i am being stabbed 24/7. I have had this pain for 2 weeks just didn't say anything because thought it just was a muscle thing.

Also found out that am having a reoccurance of carpal tunnel. About 3 years ago I had surgery on both hands to fix the painful problem. Now it's back and not as painful as it was, but getting really numb like before and sometimes the pain is there.

Having the worst headaches ever and some other things that go along with them. I wish i could just throw up and maybe would feel better. I really have nothing in me, i hardly eat because of the nausea and other things, so nothing in me to do that or have the diarrhea so bad...actually it's getting better but still there. Thinking if I don't eat then that won't happen.

I totally feel like i am complaining. I know that what is going on is not nearly as bad or life threatening as others out there. Maybe just feeling sorry for myself. Idk anymore.

Thanks for listening,
Jen

Sorry about all the pain...

One thing for the carpal tunnel though, it might not be specifically carpal tunnel that is giving the symptoms, the blockage of the nerve conduction could be occuring up into the arm more (pronator teres syndrome) or even up into the neck (thoracic outlet syndrome or something similar). If you've had the surgery and it's coming back it's probably something higher up, so that could be something to check out.
Thanks for this!

Can't stand the pain lately. I did get a tens unit for my back, and now my insurance isn't sure they are even going to cover it, and they said i can purchase it if I want...$900 at least...I can't afford that so if my doc. won't approve it for use then I have to send it back. I haven't taken a pain pill since I have used the unit. Well I have but that was because I wanted to be knocked out for a while...that's another totaly different story.

I am still in PT, but I believe Friday will be the last session, not much they can do anymore except for me to do the exercises at home that they gave me. So, I hope that things will get better.

Jen

I hope the doctor approves the use of it so your insurance will cover it. You deserve some relief from the pain. Take care of yourself.
