At the end of April, I had went to the hospital b/c I thought I had kidney stones, and after doing a CT they found a mass by my right kidney. The results were inconclusive, so I had another CT w/contrast 2 weeks later. I finally got the results on Thursday, and they were inconclusive and it was recommended that I get an MRI done.

So my doctor was like you should probably go see a specialist and let them determine if an MRI is needed or not.

The last report did say that it was non-aggressive and my doctor said that that was a good thing. But still I'm worried about it.

Yes, I would definitely go to a specialist, see what it is with an MRI; that sounds scary. I had an infection that looked like that, wandering around for like 5 months before we found the right antibiotic to knock it out.

A specialist would be most helpful to you and an MRI is a great tool.

For your peace of mind, I hope you will consult the specialist who can tell you what is what. It's so hard to wonder and worry.

Yeah, I'm going to the specialist next week. I'm just kinda freaked out about it because the scan listed the possibility of an enlarged lymph node, and my dad had lymphoma.

(((Queen Accountant))) - I'm very sorry to hear this. I don't know much about this kind of medical condition but it's always a worry when you hear the word 'mass'. I pray you'll be okay.

It's scary to wait and worry. You don't know yet what the specialist will say or suggest. The list of possibilities is just a list and not about you

Let us know how it goes, if you care to share that.
