I am having a sleep study done tonight to see if I might be suffering from Sleep Apnea.... I have been really tired lately and sleeping like 15 hours at a time with no energy after wards.... wish me luck.

BTW - they are now able to do the sleep study at your house - w00t! w00t!

That's very cool they can do it at your house. If you do have apnea and they fix it - you're going to feel much better. Good luck and sweet dreams.

Wow way cool on having it done at your own house! You will be more comfortable there than in some sleep lab. Good luck in finding the answers to your sleep problems.

Awesome! I hope it's available around these parts. I'm sure my husband has the whole Sleep Apnea thing going on since, in his case, weight gain. Directly attibutable to all the stress surrounding my "Bipolarism". (Did I coin a new word?) Good luck Rhapsody......I hope you're sleeping well soon!

I hope they find the answer to your tiredness, Rhapsody. I had a study done last month and received a sleep apnea diagnosis. I am now using a CPAP machine at night. I thought it would be awful or uncomfortable, but it's really not. I can't tell if it is helping me with tiredness or not, because I probably have tiredness for other reasons than sleep apnea too. (I don't sleep enough.) When I went to see the respiratory therapist to get a machine and mask, the first mask she had me try on was terrible! I immediately said to her, "I can't do this." I just couldn't get enough air with that mask and felt like I would suffocate--kind of panicky. She changed masks right away and the new one was far better and I could get plenty of air, so that's what she sent me home with. Hope you get your results soon.
