Has this ever happened before? Have you ever had any type of seizures? Do you ever feel your heart racing or skipping a beat?
I hope you get better soon.

You need to see a doctor for a medical evaluation.

I just thought id put my two cents in..its not worth much mind u but here it is...
Have you ever been evaluated for celiacs disease? My godmother was randomly fainting all the time. She had been looked at by so many doctors and no one could understand why she kept fainting. Here it was celiacs disease. Its a disease that you cant handle gluton foods and if you do intake gluton (which i know you do because almost everything has gluton) one of the symptoms is fainting. I would try and bring it up and ask for a gastro doctor. Good luck! |

High salt intake will cause fainting.... sodium causes the body to excrete potassium (Vitamin K) and that is what makes you faint, the lack of vit. k.
Eat high potassium foods, such as bananas, and don't eat high salt foods like chips. See if that helps.

Quote:
Potassium and vitamin K are two entirely different things. The chemical symbol for potassium is K which may have you confused.

I was reading some of your other posts & came across this one:
Quote:
Food restriction shuts down the whole body system including the brain & without energy, the body refuses to function.....then poof....you faint. Not a wise thing to mess around with. If that's not the case, then it sounds like you have a chemical inbalance going on. I know when I ended up dehydrated I ended up passing out until I finally got into the ER for IV fluids. There are many things that can cause fainting & it's important for a dr to figure out what the cause is. Having blood tests done to determine if there is an imbalance there is a good place to start. If you have just started restricting on the food, nothing will immediately show up in the blood work.....but by the time it does, it means you are really sick. Your parents need to know this is happening & need to get you to a dr ASAP.

I second the celiac disease suggestion. I used to have fainting spells randomly, even while just sitting in a chair. I went gluten free and felt better, But it turned out I had additional food intolerances to sort out. When I went off soy I started getting much better and stopped fainting.
Of course if you aren't eating enough then you are going to have problems also. Another thing that can cause this is hypoglcycemia, (low blood sugar). IF it keeps happening you should see a doctor and think about anything you have changed in your diet, such as new drugs or vitamins or foods. |

You mentioned on a previous thread that you are pregnant with twins. How far along are you now? I would really get the fainting checked out as it might have something to do with your pregnancy.
