Last night I choked on some orange juice. I woke up today with a terrible headache and sinus pain. I also feel very nauseated and I don't know what's causing this. I also feel very weak. I haven't had sinus problems in a year and a half. I feel awful

Were there sulphites in your orange juice, Lynn? I have a terrible reaction to them now and they are in so many things as a preservative. Here is hoping you can get rid of what is ailing you and feel back to yourself soon.

Ugh. I have issues when anything goes into the wrong "pipe" ... some are severe like when I get soapy shower/shampoo into my nostrils etc... even worse if I choke or aspirate!

Drink a lot of water to help your body surround the offender and take the toxin away.

So sorry you're not feeling well ((((((Lynn)))))) I have a lot of sinus issues so I really know what feels like. I do hope this clears up very soon and that you can get some rest in the meantime

Thank you ((Hunny)), ((JD)) and ((Sundog)) - I appreciate the advice and concern..you're all wonderful. I've been on the sofa all day so far. I'm not sure if I feel nauseated because of sinus drainage or if I have a stomach bug. I've taken tylenol and 2 gravol even though I don't normally take it - gravol makes me fidgity for some reason.

When my mother had a stroke, she was nauseated but I pray this isn't what's happening. I haven't been sick in so long and I feel I need to appreciate good health when I have it. I hope this goes away quickly. Thank you again everyone.

Thank you ((ECHOES)) - right now I drinking some fresh lemon juice in hot water and honey. A member told me this is good for nausea. I wish I had some ginger root because this is great for that too but I'm out. I've only had breakfast....I think I'll try to eat something. My girls have been a great help to me today.

Thanks ((Hunny)) - I read the carton and didn't see it listed. I don't know if they can put this is and not list it. Yes I have trouble with sulphites too and you're right they put in in many foods especially dried fruit and red wine.

I'm happy to say I feel much better today....not completely normal but least I can walk around and eat better. I was surprised when I weighed myself - I was 5 lbs less. I have a fast metabolism but I didn't know it was that fast lol.

Thanks to everyone who showed concern and advice - when we're feeling crappy it's comforting to know someone cares.
