Ever get a weird tickle deep in your chest when you inhale? For the last several months, I have - but only when I try to inhale deeply or yawn. If I don't cut the yawn or the deep breath short, I start coughing. I wouldn't say I have trouble breathing, but it'd be nice to take a really deep breath now and then.

I would get it checked out if it is bothering you.

I have asthma and don't have trouble breathing in, but I can't get the air out. Do you wheeze when you exhale?

It could be a number of things: allergies / asthma, infection, anxiety, etc.

It's probably be best to get it checked out.

I know I should get it checked out, but I'm uninsured right now. I don't want to be diagnosed with something serious and then be uninsurable. Plus, I hate going to the doctor.

But I do feel like something is probably wrong. I have a list of weird things going on with myself, but don't know if they are related. Swollen hand and feet that turn purple sometimes, small sores occasionally in nose and mouth, a rash that pops up now and again just below my eye. None of these things are hugely painful, just a little annoying now and then. Especially the swollen fingers. I lose 30 pounds, but my fingers get bigger? Don't understand that one. I can't wear my wedding ring anymore. And it's a nice size rock. I hate not being able to show it off.

you could be getting the beginnings of a cold. I get that before i get the full blown cold and only once when i got bronchitis. I had got it about 2 weeks before i got bronchitis and for colds i usually have the tickle for 2 to 4 months.
