Hi as most of you probably know I was dxd with dissociative motor disorder almost 2 years ago after a slow process of pains and problems, this (or something) has left me unable to walk or sit unsupported and with a multitude of dexterity and co-ordination problems in my hands, legs etc. ok as if that is not enough to deal with i also already had dxd's of asthma,arthritis in a knee, hyperhydrosis and multiple allergies, to add to that in the past 10 or so weeks I have had flu twice times, 2 ear infections, a chest infection, An antibiotic resistant UTI, blood in my stools, and I think it was some sort of kidney thing at christmas. Now I have flu again and it is heading towards a chest infection and is lurking in my ears too!!!!! (i just started antibiotics yet again)
I used to work with 2-5 year olds in my nursery school and only got the odd cold every few years, so why is it now i am not in contact with all the bugs that i seem to be getting all of them?????
it just feels like my body is determined to give up the fight of life eventhough my brain wants to keep going, ok i get down because my situation is far from ok, but that is more a reason to fight not give up!!!
oh and yes i have had the flu jab this winter for what little use it has been!!!

Hi Yellowted ~ Evidently between the asthma and allergies, your immune system is working overtime - and perhaps it's just too worn out to keep you from catching what is going around. When you had the day care, you were building up antibodies from all this stuff, but not now.

I'm so sorry you're feeling so rotten. This is all you need right now. Drink PLENTY of liquids ~ and get lots of rest! I'll send you a bill in the morning. Hugs, Lee
