LOL; aren't all our insides basically chemicals? Maybe it's the other way around and our chemicals got out and contaminated the "world", chicken and egg style. I was just reading/saw on TV somewhere that everyone has cocaine in their system; I know we all have cancer cells and "bad" bacteria.

Thanks for the article Byz - yes I think it's much worse now a days. These chemicals are also affecting wildlife - the estrogen like chemicals are causing female sex organs on male fish.
I don't know if most people know this - but non stick teflon coatings can get into the food and stays in our bodies forever. When a new pan is heated for the 1st time, it releases fumes enough to kill a canary(if it's in the kitchen). There's a new product called 'anodized aluminum' and this is better to cook with and non-stick. It's important to never heat leftovers in a plastic container or cover it with plastic wrap. This is part of the reason why some girls are having their periods/puberty early.
