I called today to schedule my surgery for my deviated septum and sinus's. Its not until November 16th. I was hoping for the end of this month . But the doctor is booking into next month already. And I had to wait till after my nephews wedding on the 12th. UGH I hate surgeries! I always get sick from the anesthesia! Ahh well it needs to be done.

((((((((((((((((beth))))))))))))))))) gl. the last of my surgeries (i won't go back...lol) included repairing deviated septum. there was alot more to it than that, but was included. it DID help.
i've talked friends into having it done as well and they were nothing but purely grateful. it helped them immensely. i'm hoping the same for you! we'll be here for ya.

I hope it goes well for you Beth, I also have a deviated septum, and the doctor says I may have to have surgery on it. Although if it got rid of my chronic sinus infections, I'd be happy. *HUGS*

Ugh... been there done that... and I will NEVER do that surgery again. (((((tryin))))) I hope you feel well till then anyway! And that the surgery helps a lot!

It takes time to be fully "over" it, ya know? You have lots of after stuff to deal with... not too bad if you have lived through childbirth LOL oh wait, that is real supportive... yeah most of it's gross. And you have to lavage for days and days. But it will take care of your infections, and that has to be tough to live with. I'm still anemic because I couldn't allow the doctor to use ephinephrine (allergic) which keeps the bleeding down... and this was many years ago. The doctor just didn't realize my ongoing anemia problem going into it.. and didn't care after. It was a good thing I opted for the surgery, as the polyps were growing into the base of my brain.
I think you'll be fine!

Well I got a call today from the doctors office. I have to be at the hospital at 1pm this Wednesday for my sinus surgery. I dont like this. I thought it would be early in the morning so I would be out of it most of the rest of the day so I wouldnt be all sad like usual cause of it being the anniversary of my moms death. Just not fair....

I just had surgery too, Tryin. One of the good things is that all the nurses are so nice to you and I even had a handsome young man wheel me out! I'm hoping the same for you!!
