i was sick all night and am still ill. i am one of those people who goes to work, regardless. i don't think i can do it today. don't let me guilt myself out over it........

You can't go if you are sick.
People like me with compromised immune systems could catch it and get WAY-WICKED sick.  You tell your boss it is in the best interest of the other employees and the public if you stay home and get well.
