I've been bleeding since yesterday morning. I know I'm suppose to call the doctor and let them know if I have bleeding, but I'm too scared to. I know they are going to tell me to go to the ER and I don't want to be in the hospital. Keep thinking that I'm making a big deal out of nothing and hoping it stops on it's own. I've been to the bathroom 3 times since yesterday and I've bleed each time I've gone. I don't know. Maybe it's to triggering to even think about. Maybe it will stop. I have another appointment with the doctor coming up on the 15th. I don't know what I should do. I can't deal with this.

Sweetie,

You need to call them and tell them. You don't have to make any decisions about anything until you talk to someone.

Find out what they have to say first, then you can make the decision to go to the hospital or not, but at least make the call.

Monty girl, I'm with Petunia,

One step at a time. Make the call. That's all. We need information to make informed choices. Please give them a listen, ok?? I want you to be well, not leaking blood, ok?

I'm still way to scared to call the doctor. I talked to my H and he said he will go with me tomorrow to the doctor or where ever they send me if I'm still bleeding. I'm going to do a liquid diet today and see if that stops it. I'm just so very scared right now.

Have you had this trouble before, and didn't like what taking care of it entailed, is that why you are afraid? Or is it the sensitive nature of it all that makes you afraid? Remember, doctors treat the body.. and it's second nature to them.. not anything scarey... TC of yourself.

Sky, I think it's the sensitive and triggering nature of the exam. I know I'll have to have an exam when I go for my appointment. Is a lot to deal with and I'm just having a hard time.

I did finually call the doctor's office and talk with the physican assistant. I told her I had my colonoscopy 2 weeks ago, but started bleeding yesterday/ this morning and thought I stopped this afternoon. She said that the bleed couldn't be from the scopy since it has been so long. She said that my biopsies are not back yet. If I start bleeding again I'm suppose to call the office as soon as possible so that I can come in. So that's where things are right now. Just sitting and hoping the bleeding has stopped.

Thank You everyone for the prayers and thoughts. I've stopped bleeding. I've just had a little bit of pain this morning, but nothing to bad. Now I'm just waiting to see what the doctor has to say about everything when I go in the 15th. I kind of think I know what set the bleeding off. I ate peanuts saturday not really thinking that they would hurt anything. Guess I learned NO NUTS, means none, and don't eat them. Live and Learn.

Maybe a nearby hospital has a nurse advice line you can call and ask how much bleeding is too much?
