I have lavender oil, meditate and relax and just dont know how to fix it. Driving me nuts.

Some of it is my spine.... I do yoga and pilates.

Peppermint oil on your temples (if you don't have a skin sensitivity to it).
Ice pack on the back of your neck
Don't know what brand oils you use but several have headache blends. Young living has M-graine and wydmere naturals has head-aide... just check to be sure they don't interact with any of your meds if you plan on using them on your skin. I use them in defusers.
I use rescue remedy lotion, it is one of the Bach flower thingies
a lot of things that work for migraines work for tension headaches too
There is a pressure point on your hands between your thumb and pointer finger, working on the knot in the muscle there can help.
If back problems are contributing anything to help the back problem will help the headaches. I have neck problems that will trigger mine and I use Tiger Balm (similar to Icy Hot)
Just be sure to check with your Dr too. The headaches can be signs of other health issues and you want to be sure none of the things you do for your headaches interfere with any meds you may already be taking.

This muscle tension may be caused by:

Inadequate rest
Poor posture
Emotional or mental stress, including depression
Anxiety
Fatigue
Hunger
Overexertion

The most common sources of stress include family, social relationships, friends, work, and school. Examples of stressors include:

Having problems at home/difficult family life
Having a new child
Having no close friends
Returning to school or training; preparing for tests or exams
Going on a vacation
Starting a new job
Losing a job
Being overweight
Deadlines at work
Competing in sports or other activities
Being a perfectionist
Not getting enough sleep
Being over-extended (involved in too many activities/organizations)

If it's the muscles, work on the first list to ease, if it's social/environmental, work on the second!

Sometimes a little caffeine will help.
Massage if you can get one.
Heating pad on your spine might loosen it up too.
