Okay, I can't call this a surgery. But on Friday night at 1:45 am I was taken to the E.R because I was food poisoned and I got my stomach pumped. My doctor suggested that I should only eat stuff like bread, yoghurt and porridge the first days until I feel better. So today I feel much better and my stomach doesn't hurt anymore and my nausea is gone.
I'm now allowed to eat something else, but I don't know what. Do you know something that will stay down? |

I think the 'BRAT' diet, followed by a bland diet would be a good idea.
The 'BRAT' diet is simply bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. A bland diet is more foods, cooked without fats or spices: http://www.livestrong.com/article/50...-a-bland-diet/ I hope you feel better soon! ![]() |

Just have to say when I first glanced at this I thought it said "who to eat after surgery?"
